The Wentworth-Gardner Historic House Association seeks part-time tour guides for the 2026 season, which runs from late May through mid-October
Responsibilities: Giving tours of the Wentworth-Gardner house, exchanging money for tour admissions in cash and credit card transactions, and occasionally assisting with special events. The Wentworth-Gardner house is open to the public Thursday through Monday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Scheduling is flexible but some weekend day necessary.
Qualifications: Applicants must have knowledge of New England and American history, be comfortable with public speaking, and present a cheerful and engaging disposition. Must also have availability on weekends. Ideal for students, teachers, retirees, and others who have a love of history.
Compensation: $15/hour
